What do you need to do? It's simple - for four days, I will be airing a webisode of Bertolli's Into the Heart of Italy. You simply watch the webisode and then leave a comment telling me:
a. your favorite part
b. the "clue"
And whether or not you are interested in participating in this Bertolli giveaway! If you are, please make sure your comment includes a way I can reach you. Four days of comments will be combined and then one will be picked at random.* The giveaway closes Thursday at 8 p.m. when a "comment number" is picked (at 10 p.m.). Then, get ready to pack your bags!
*I am sorry, my international friends, but the giveaway applies to the continental United States only. Winner must be available to travel May 10-12.
The webisodes are easy on the eyes - it's a few minutes a day under the Tuscan sun. I travel vicariously through cooking, why not through webisodes?

another great opportunity for you~ wish I had time off, but my full time job of retail awaits me....salad sounds awesome, have a great time!! I will wait another 15 years to retire before having spare time to travel freely like you do, your so lucky~ congrats on this fine opportunity....
Oh Claudia, wish you could enter. I will work like a demon at home (am very much not retired) to be ahead of myself. Changed meetings, changed rehearsals... but yes, am very lucky to be able to schedule myself!
What an amazing opportunity!
a) I love Vito's Mom.
b) Cheese - parmigiano reggiano
How very exciting for you, Claudia! I will have to try the Bertolli Dinners!
Where to start? This is such a fun chance for you and a reader. I love the whole episode - especially making the farfalle. And the clue of parmigiano reggiano - yes, yes parmigiano - the king of cheeses.
have loads of fun !!
You know my husband is in LA that week and it would have been so much fun for me to be there too but I do have to stay with my little one here. I'm looking forward though to virtually living this experience through you :)
Another exciting culinary adventure for you, Claudia. Best of luck. I wish I could be free to join you, but, alas, work and life beckons. (And it would have been nice to meet you in person!) How lucky for you to meet up with Rocco; he's a CIA grad and has been back to the valley on occasion.
Safe travel; I look forward to reading all about it.
Strawberry salad! wow The recipe comes just in time, as I have some fresh strawberries in the fridge...and I gotta put lots of the pine nuts in it!
Have a lovely Monday!
Marisa is so darling. I've always liked her. I loved seeing the city...so beautiful!
The clue was cheese.
Oh yes, I would love to play along! ;)
I hope you have a wonderful time Claudia!! Love that you put pine nuts in that salad, I never think to use them that way. It looks yummy.
I am thrilled for you Claudia. I'm thrilled for them as well. I can't think of anyone who would be a better spokesperson or representative than you. I hope you are having a great day up there on cloud nine. Blessings...Mary
Wow I cant wait to hear about this exciting trip! Im stuck in Philly.... :( that weekend, in the mean time Ill be eating strawberry sadad!!!
Perfect timing, Claudia! I bought a big container of strawberries at Costco this weekend and a strawberry salad sounds good!
Marisa Tormei lived in Brooklyn as a child and attended the same junior high school as my son! My favorite part of this flim clip was Rocco helping her flip the pasta in the large fryng pan to help incorporate the delicious sauce. I have to learn how to do that myself.
I'm retired so I could go those dates if I were lucky enough to win!
The clue(s)were cheese hammer, and parmigiano reggiano cheese.
What a fun adventure - I can't wait to see what you have to say about it. I'll have to watch the video but in the meantime I just wanted to wish you so much fun on your trip.
What a yummy sounding salad!
Oh, I love salad of strawberries, balsamic and basil... never thought of adding pine nuts! Thanx :)
