What do you need to do? It's simple - for four days, I will be airing a webisode of Bertolli's Into the Heart of Italy. You simply watch the webisode and then leave a comment telling me:
a. your favorite part
b. the "clue"
And whether or not you are interested in participating in this Bertolli giveaway! If you are, please make sure your comment includes a way I can reach you. Four days of comments will be combined and then one will be picked at random.* The giveaway closes Thursday at 8 p.m. when a "comment number" is picked (at 10 p.m.). The webisodes are easy on the eyes - it's a few minutes a day under the Tuscan sun. I travel vicariously through cooking, why not through webisodes?

And below is all you need for a Sassy Strawberry Salad.
1 pint strawberries, cleaned and hulled, cut if huge
1/2 cup toasted pine nuts
4 cups combination of baby spinach and mache lettuces
2-3 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
3-4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
a few brave turns of the pepper grinder
Toss and serve. Watch the video and dream of Italy. Comment and come to L.A.

Strawberry salad! wow The recipe comes just in time, as I have some fresh strawberries in the fridge...and I gotta put lots of the pine nuts in it!

ReplyDeleteMarisa Tormei lived in Brooklyn as a child and attended the same junior high school as my son! My favorite part of this flim clip was Rocco helping her flip the pasta in the large fryng pan to help incorporate the delicious sauce. I have to learn how to do that myself.
I'm retired so I could go those dates if I were lucky enough to win!
The clue(s)were cheese hammer, and parmigiano reggiano cheese.
