I think that, like Pearl Harbor for my grandparents generation and the Kennedy Assassination for my parents', my generation will always remember exactly where they were and what they were doing at the very moment they heard the news.
ReplyDeleteThen again... I think we'll all remember 9/11. This is definitely a day for reflection.
9/11 is certainly etched in my memory...right along with President Kennedy's Assassination.
ReplyDeleteThis day means a lot to me. Not only for our loss but it is also my dads bday who passed away 20 years ago. He was a Yonkers NY fireman.

ReplyDeleteYour article made me so sad. You always evoke emotions in me. That is why you are so good at what you do. I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. My Grandpa was on his deathbed and died a few days after this - it's just a hard time of the year.

Great article! I will certainly never forget 9/11. I was working in DC for the little department of FAA's Civil Aviation Security at that time which has after 9/11 become TSA.

Oh yes, I do remember that! I was at my parents' place and I heard someone shouting "watch the news,watch the news!!!". OMG, that was unbelieveable! I was upsad for awhile. I prayed that this will not happen again in the future.
