My g...I've given up growing my own peas, alas. My garden space is limited, and too much other stuff cries out to be grown. And I'm lucky enough to have several great farmer's markets where I can easily buy fresh - so that's what I do. Anyway, nice, simple way to prepare them. I often microwave vegetables a lot, too. In fact, for those quick cooking ones I think it's the perfect way to prepare them (most of them, anyway).
